Gill Hughes and Gill Griffiths are co-founders of Kind Hearted Care Limited.
After years of working within home care, they decided to set up Kind Hearted Care Limited to do things better. They started with an idea of how they would like a home care company to work; putting themselves into the “shoes” of the client; researching the industry; pairing this with their skills and expertise….Kind Hearted Care was the result!
Both Gill and Gill are enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference and delivering against Kind Hearted Care’s mission statement of “To deliver a care service designed to enhance the quality, enrich the experience and prolong the enjoyment of home-living in our society, to give care as it should be given, Kind and from the heart.”
They have been friends for several years and have both experienced, first-hand, the challenges that distance care-planning can bring. Having family living afar - and having to deal with all aspects of their care - has inspired Gill and Gill to deliver a care service that provides a visibility and reassurance to family members that their loved ones are being well-cared for.

Gill Hughes has many years’ experience working within both the NHS and home care services. In addition, Gill has extensive experience of individuals with various special needs. Gill has personal experience of caring – both for loved ones and as a home care assistant.
Gill Griffiths whilst working within homecare services for many years also has a background in training and auditing care staff and care businesses.

As a result of personal experience, the owners of Kind Hearted Care understand how important it is to have reliable feedback and trustworthy Care staff, who are not only able to deliver the services required, but who are also able to do so with dignity, respect and with a true understanding of the person to be cared for.
Kind Hearted Care aim to recruit only the best care assistants who Kind Hearted Care would want to look after their own loved ones. Every Carer undergoes a full training and induction course designed to meet the National Standards for Domiciliary Care. In return, we will offer our Carers a permanent contract with the best rates of pay – because we understand how important their role is and what an impact they can have each and every day.
In addition, Kind Hearted Care have a strong management team who co-ordinate, support, guide and assess the Carers, whilst taking onboard their feedback – it’s very much a team effort!
All staff providing care services are qualified and DBS checked.
